Employment History

Sambad Technologies Private Limited (Initially International Web Private Limited) was initiated by me to cater exponential growth of web and Internet Server leasing market on 1997. It expanded to make a developing Internet Application to Professional Medical Doctors(DoctorOnline). Now it is emerging company of training and consulting on business security, IT infrastructure design and management, formation of policy and procedures. It is registered Company registration office(reg no. 7266/054/55) and Value Added Tax and Income Tax Office(reg no. 301765781) in Nepal.

• Oversees design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products and services
• Recommends yearly budget for Board approval and prudently manages organization's resources within those budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations
• Effectively manages the human resources of the organization according to authorized personnel policies and procedures that fully conform to current laws and regulations
• Assures the organization and its mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the Central Bank of Nepal, was established in 1956 to discharge the central banking responsibilities including guiding the development of the embryonic domestic financial sector. Since then, there has been a huge growth in both the number and the activities of the domestic financial institutions.

Nepal Rastra Bank having secured Computer Network in Central Office, Banking Office and other Eight branches throughout the country. It has largest Physical Computer Network of Nepal in central Office located at Baluwatar, Kathmandu, Nepal. It has limited connectivity with its branches. It has used Windows, Novell and Linux platform for servers and Windows for clients. The Bank has about 1000 Computer Nodes, 11 Database servers, 1 Firewall, 5 Cisco routers and several Cisco and Dlink Switches. Two Boulding of Central Office connected with 6 cores Fiber with Ring Backbone.

Joined as Assistant Director in IT Department of in January 2002 and promoted as Senior Computer Officer in June 2004 in the Same Department.

Key Performance areas:

• Design to upgrade/maintain/administer single largest physical Network in Nepal.
• Designing and configuring TCI/IP and IPX/SPX using fixed IP and DHCP.
• Configuration and maintenance of mail server(postfix), Webserver(Apache), proxy server(squid).
• Configuration of Cisco routers and switches and Dlink Switches
• Firewall design and implementation(IPTABLES and Access-List in Cisco Routers)
• Providing First layer support SWIFT Department in operation and managing SWIFT.
• To provide training to end users of applications.
• Formulation of IT Policy.

Computer Point Nepal is only ISO 9001:2000 certified computer education center in Nepal with a strong and distinct brand image in providing internationally acceptable computer training. It is Authorized Training Partner of Red Hat in Nepal, It is Sponsored Organization (SO) of Element K for delivering Authorized Training for CCNA Training, based on Official Course Curriculum of CISCO Systems. It is also Authorized Training Partner of AutoDesk and CompTIA. It is also Training Partner of Network Security Solutions, India. Recently Computer Point Nepal has become VUE Testing Centre.

CORE was founded in 1992 by a group of young engineers as a technical support providing company to publish the first computer magazine of Nepal - CORE Computer Magazine. This bimonthly magazine aimed at providing awareness to the people of Nepal. A fortnightly tabloid CORExpress was started in 1996, and both of these were merged as CORExpress Computer Magazine in 1998.
